POWER & RUN TIME

The Yamaha EF2400iSHC's design includes a gasoline-fueled 171 cc Yamaha MZ175 OHV 4-stroke engine. With a 120V output, it gives a running wattage of 2,000W and also a peak wattage of 2,400W.
Enjoying a noise rating of 53 dBA (just slightly more noisy than a refrigerator), this inverter generator gets running thanks to a simple traditional pull-start mechanism.
This generator features Yamaha's Smart Throttle™. This load-sensing feature automatically adjusts engine speed to match its load in order to offer greater fuel efficiency and noise reduction.
With a fuel capacity of 1.6 gallon, the EF2400iSHC may run for up to 11 hours with a full tank (fuel consumption around 0.15 GPH).
As the EF2400iSHC produces a clean sine wave, with a <2.5% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), sensitive electronics may be plugged in the AC outlets safely.

It also sports 1 DC outlet: there's a 12V 8A receptacle with which charging your batteries is made easy.
PORTABILITY

The Yamaha EF2400iSHC is an inverter generator and has an encased design of the following dimensions: L20.8 x W16.5 x H18.2 in. Thus, it is more aesthetical than conventional, open frame products. The generator has a contemporary design, convenient for recreationally generating power.
The 75 lbs of the EF2400iSHC's dry weight enables you to use it anywhere you will ever need. In addition, its nifty double handle improves your grip, allowing for an easy transport of the EF2400iSHC from place to place.

Several light indicators serve to show you when the generator is overloaded, its oil levels are insufficient and the generator is ready.
A built-in fuel gauge allows for a quick, easy and convenient check of the fuel level of the inverter generator.
As for its security measures, the device features an overload protection (circuit breaker) and an automatic low oil shut-off (Oil Watch system), letting you use it with a peace of mind.
Yamaha's Oil Watch warning system gives you an extra peace of mind. This feature enhances long-term durability by preventing engine damage and costly repairs. Once the oil begins to run low, the generator automatically shuts off and cannot be re-started until oil is added.
